The Oaks was founded in 1980, when a small group of Christians began to meet together in one another’s homes to worship God, pray and build relationships. We soon grew and needed a bigger venue, and began to meet in local community halls. In 1987 we acquired our present home, Oaks Christian Centre in Dronfield.

We belong to the Ground Level network of churches. (www.groundlevel.org.uk ) We are also part of Churches Together in Dronfield & District.

Our purpose is to worship God and bring wholeness to people.
